Anjali

There’s a saying in the makeup world, “If people don’t see you do it, they assume that you can’t do it”. I would love to show more diversity in my makeup portfolio, unfortunately living in a small country town in Australia it can be difficult to find the right models to demonstrate your skills.

Anjali was briefly visiting the Clarence Valley from Sydney, and as soon as I spotted her I knew I had to work with her. She has beautiful dark features that I was really excited to work with. Her eyes were created using all @maccosmeticsaustralia shadows, “Woodwinked” and “Bronze Frost” on the upper lid. The lower lashline is smudged with @maccosmeticsaustralia “Woodwinked” and blended into “Bronze Frost” on the outer edges. @bobbibrownaustralia gel liner on the waterline and upper lashline, mascara and a full set of light natural lashes were applied. Brows tamed using @makeup_weapons Brow Balm. Velvety skin achieved by using the @smashboxcosmetics Photo Finish Primer, @meccacosmetica Lit from Within Illuminating Drops, @narsissist Sheer Glow Foundation, finished off with a dusting of @lauramercier Translucent Powder. Contour, blush and highlight on the cheeks. Lip is @maccosmeticsaustralia “Russian Red”. All applied using @raemorrismakeup brushes.

Lara

Lets just sit back and enjoy this beautiful image of #ooohlalara from a recent shoot. All the wings, all the darks, I love love love this look on Lara. I mean seriously, so beautiful.

Eyes created by blending @maccosmeticsaustralia neutral browns in the eye socket and a dusty khaki over the lid. Slick wing using @bobbibrownaustralia black gel liner along the upper and lower lashes and waterline. A @maccosmeticsaustralia rose pink lip, blushing cheeks with a soft contour and highlight.

Emily

I have been busting to get my hands on this face for so long! I love using dusty pinks and bronzes on green eyes, the colours really make them pop. The eyes were created using all @maccosmeticsaustralia shadows, “Star Violet”, “Sketch” and “Noir” from the Burgandy Times Nine Palette on the upper lid. The lower lashline is smudged with @maccosmeticsaustralia “Antiqued”, “Bronze Frost” and “Woodwinked”. @bobbibrownaustralia gel liner on the waterline, mascara and individual lashes on the upper outer lashline. Brows tamed using @makeup_weapons Brow Balm. Velvety skin achieved by using the @smashboxcosmetics Photo Finish Primer, @meccacosmetica Lit from Within Illuminating Drops, @narsissist Sheer Glow Foundation, finished off with a dusting of @lauramercier Translucent Powder. Contour, blush and highlight on the cheeks. Lip is smudged with @maccosmeticsaustralia Amourous. All applied using the amaaaaazing @raemorrismakeup brushes.

Bree

Seriously, look at the colour of those eyes. They look like jewels. Another face I was super excited to work on. Eyes created using @toofaced Sweet Peach Palette in colours “Caramelized”, “Peach Pit” and “Tempting”. Upper lashline smudged with @smashboxcosmetics Raven Kohl Liner. @erinbiggcosmetics Gel Liner on the lower waterline and a few sweeps of mascara #nofalsiesneeded. Brows tamed using @makeup_weapons Brow Balm. Velvety skin achieved by using the @smashboxcosmetics Photo Finish Primer, @meccacosmetica Lit from Within Illuminating Drops, @narsissist Sheer Glow Foundation, finished off with a dusting of @lauramercier Translucent Powder. Lara

Sweet little look we did on Lara for her school formal last year. Peach and rust tones with a hint of champagne pink.

Brigette

When Brigette arrived the first thing I noticed were those beautiful eyes. I knew I wanted to focus on enhancing those peepers to make them really stand out. The second thing I noticed were her lashes, I’ve never seen a set of natural lashes so thick and long, total lash envy here #nofalsiesrequired. Brigette has beautiful facial structure and yet another teenager with gorgeous creamy skin. What’s going on there? Pretty sure when I was 15 puberty released its fury in the form of a face full of delightful crimson dots. I used a dusty pink on Brigettes upper eyelid blended with a deep chocolate brown. I added bronze along her lower lash line blending into a deeper brown on the outer corners. A bronze liner on her waterline and a few sweeps of mascara.
A smudge of rose pink on the lips, flushed cheeks and light dewy skin.

Mia

A sweet smokey eye for Mia for using the @toofaced Sweet Peach Palette in colours “Delectable”, “Peach Pit”, “Tempting” and “Cobbler”. Smudged upper liner in @smashboxcosmetics Raven Kohl Liner. Full set of light natural lashes. Brows tamed using @makeup_weapons Brow Balm. Velvety skin achieved by using the @smashboxcosmetics Photo Finish Primer, @meccacosmetica Lit from Within Illuminating Drops, @narsissist Sheer Glow Foundation, finished off with a dusting of @lauramercier Translucent Powder. Contour, blush and highlight on the cheeks. Lip @maccosmeticsaustralia Crème in your Coffee. Looooooove this colour. All applied using the amaaaaazing @raemorrismakeup brushes.

Laura

What about that time I got to create magic with the stellar @margotrobbie! #onceuponatimeingtown . Ok, so its Laura, but you’ll have to admit she’s channelling some serious A-lister vibes in this shot. Super sweet soft look for Laura’s formal last November.

Jossy

Jossy has that perfect flame hair/blue eye combo. Her eyes are the most stunning shade of blue. The first time I did Jossy’s makeup for an event she opted for a sweet natural look, which totally compliments her personality. When she booked me to do her formal makeup she walked in and boldly requested all the darks. Her eyes looked stunning, she looked stunning and she was totally rapt.

Sasha

Sasha has the most diviiiiiiine blue eyes you ever did see! I was super pumped when she contacted me to do her makeup for a photoshoot with Gold Coast photog @timmymahahaha There was really no other option than to make those baby blues POP! Earthy browns, bronzes and golds were used to enhance Sasha’s eyes in a rounded smokey eye. @stilacosmetics black liquid liner on the upper lash, a full set of super light natural lashes, @maccosmeticsaustralia bronze liner on the water line, and a smudge of bronze shadow along the lower lash line. The lightest brush of foundation to even out Sasha’s porcelain skin, finished off with translucent powder to keep it dewy, soft pink cheeks, slight contour and highlight and a smudge of @maccosmeticsaustralia amorous lipstick on the lips.This chick is going places, give her a follow @sashavandenboogaard Agent: @mystiquemodels
