I often get asked if I travel for Weddings and the answer is most definitely YES! I offer my Brides the convenience of an on location service to take the stress out of having to travel for your makeup on your Wedding Day. I have a lot of local Weddings booked this year – between Coffs Harbour, Grafton and Yamba – but 2021 will also see me travelling as far south as Port Macquarie and as far north as Brisbane.

Hey Guys, I am back into the full swing of things!

At the end of last year I took a moment to sit back and reflect on the year that was and contemplate the year ahead. I really didn’t know how 2021 was going to look for my little business considering where we are in the world at the moment. I started the year off feeling like there was still reluctance from couples to start booking Weddings when there is still so much uncertainty around the pandemic. This last week I have been inundated with enquiries and it just makes my big ol artistic heart so happy. I love my job, and I am so grateful and appreciate all your support.

Happy New Year! I hope you have all had a wonderful start to 2021! I have been enjoying a blissfully relaxing time at the beach with my little family and a great bunch of mates.

I will admit somewhere around Day 4 I slipped into some sort of rancho relaxo coma, and now at Day 22, after days of pondering some of lifes biggest questions, there are a number of things I need answered.

1. How do you get out of these camp chairs? I’ve been stuck here for 14 days now and all that algebra I learnt in high school is not helping at all.

2. Is it physically possible for your stomach to explode? Please Mum, no more trifle.

3. Are there any hairdressers out there that can do something about this salty sandy mop? It currently resembles a straw broom thats been tasked to sweep up the seaweed on Brooms beach.

4. Is “he was chewing too loud” a defence that will hold up in court for murdering your husband? Asking for a friend.

I absolutely love camping but the last few days I’ve found myself drifting off into a deep fantasy about inner spring mattresses and hot showers. Might nearly be time to head back to reality….

Its Jaca time here in the Clarence Valley. Our little town of Grafton is well known for its annual Jacaranda Festival, a celebration under the canopy of these beautiful purple blooms. Unfortunately, for the first time in history, the Festival had to be cancelled due to the current world situation. So here’s my Jaca purple inspired look on the gorgeous Lara. Im challenging all those ladies out there with Aqua Brown, Blue Green, Cool Green, Hazel or Warm Green eyes to splash a little purple on their lids. You don’t have to go full ham with bright purple, try a dusty purple, or aubergine. Watch the colour of your eyes intensify as they play against the purple hue, its magic!

I receive numerous enquires each day through Facebook, Instagram, emails, texts and phone calls. Each of those enquiries usually leads to back and forth conversations. Like a lot of small businesses I am a one woman show and at times just responding to enquires can take up a huge part of my day.
I am a Mum to two beautiful little girls, one of which is with me full time #24/7 #stagefiveclinger. I am very conscious of the time I spend on my phone while I am around my girls, so rather than picking up my phone every three minutes to respond to a message, I allocate a time each day to sit down at my computer and respond to all your enquiries. So if you don’t hear back from me straight away, know that I am most likely wrangling a cute, but very demanding, three year old and I will respond as soon as I can.
