It was a cracker of a day out at McLennans Lane for Ash and Josh’s March Wedding. I absolutely love the autumn tones that Ash chose for her beautiful bridesmaids, and @paper_daisy_florist bringing the goods with these absolutely stunning autumn bouquets #perfection

Oh man, this was a waaaaaarm day! Bianca and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the Grooms parents place nestled on the edge of Sherwood Forest, and the humidity was working harder than Robin Hood and his merry men (yeah, I’ll stop). 20 minutes before the ceremony was due to begin on Bianca’s nearby farm, a cracker of a storm rolled over. The ceremony was slightly delayed, but no amount of rain could dampen the spirits of these guys.

Bianca’s Review: “This lady is amazing!! Perfect makeup for our wedding, it absolutely poured down rain when we were having photos and our makeup did not move, we all looked like we just had it done!!  
She’s also super lovely and works with what you want.”

The gorgeous wedding of Ashlea and Asher held down at Mororo near Maclean. Ashlea chose to keep her makeup minimal, so we opted for something super soft and sweet. She told me that Asher had made one request – he still wanted to see his Brides beautiful freckles.

It was a spectacular day in paradise for Cherie and Brandon’s Wedding Day. I grew up down river, with Brooms Head holding a special place in my heart, so I was extra excited to head out there to spend the morning with Cherie and her girls. It was absolutely magic to be able to work overlooking the beautiful Brooms beach, and I’m not going to lie, as soon as it was tools down I was in the water. I love my job!

Cherie’s Review: “What can I say. On the weekend I got married in Brooms Head. Nicky came to the beach house and from the moment she arrived it felt like she was part of the crew. Nicky is incredibly talented and me and my 3 bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful. My gorgeous little daughter was the flower girl and Nicky made her feel so special by including her. I can’t thank or recommend Nicky enough. We love you.”

Throwing it back to January with the beautiful wedding of Rebecca and Steve. This delightful wedding kicked off my weddings for the year. I was expecting it to be a sweltering summer’s day, but the temperature was quite mild and the day turned out to be a stunner.

Rebecca’s Review: “Nicky did an amazing job at my wedding! We had a few faces to do and she was so unbelievably professional and very supportive. We all looked wonderful and what’s more it lasted all day! Thanks Nicky, I really appreciate everything you did for me and my girls!”

It was such a pleasure to spend the morning doing makeup for Georgia and her girls, out at the family property at Newbold, just west of Grafton, with the beautiful Jen from @jennarationhairandbeauty assisting me in getting Georgia’s girls ready for the big day.

It was a pleasure hanging out with the @dimattiaandco crew for the morning while we worked with Beth and her girls for Beth’s “30th Birthday Celebrations”. There were a few little sneaky side eyes happening while I was doing Beth’s makeup, before she finally whispered to me “My 30th birthday is actually a surprise Wedding!”
I was so excited, I love a good surprise, but also like yeah totally cool and like I mean yeah whatever about it . And for the record, what’s said in the makeup chair, stays in the makeup chair – your secret is safe with me.

The beautiful wedding of Jay and Adam, held at the family property at Coaldale. I love the simplicity of the girls hair and makeup, and I absolutely adore these colours – the dresses, and the tones in the bouquets with a dusting of pink – perfection.

This was my first wedding out at The Big River Ski Lodge at Seelands. This is a great little spot where you can get married on the banks of The Mighty Clarence, have your reception underneath one of @willowtreemarqueesevents beautiful stretch marquees, and all your guests can stay as well! Cabins and camping sites available, so convenient! Definitely worth a visit if you are searching for a venue.

Hannah’s Review: “Nicky was incredible! She was relaxed and had a go with the flow attitude. We all felt so beautiful. Our makeup stayed in place all night even after hours of dancing. Thank you so much Nicky!”
