I do love a good laugh, although it’s usually at my own expense or right before I tell a joke #iykyk#olcantgettothepunchlinefletcher So you could imagine the immense joy I felt watching Amanda’s Dad, along with her entire bridal party, getting schooled on how to walk down the aisle by the dearest of celebrants. I thought the “wedding walk” went out in 1960… But I could be wrong.

I love working with the beautiful Mother’s of the Bride/Groom. There is often apprehension from the Mums because a lot of them probably haven’t worn makeup since their own wedding and there is this fear that I am going to “cake it on” or some reference to a mutton or a lamb?

I have specific training in mature face makeup, and over the years I have acquired skills and learnt techniques to create the most flattering looks for mature faces. So although at times I can be heard “winding them up”, there’s really no need to worry, I’ve got you covered #coverednotcaked

Charlotte & Nick

So it turned out that the beautiful Mother of the Bride for this Wedding happened to be my Postie. We’ve had an agreement in place for a while now – she doesn’t tell my husband how much online shopping I do, and I continue to keep her in a job. It’s been working well for us so far. There was an incredible amount of pressure to do a good job on Charlottes bridal party, purely out of fear that all my future parcels would be used as footy balls and kicked over the fence if I did a crap job. I even panicked and promised my postie a brand new super large mailbox.
So Hun if you are reading this, I don’t really buy that much stuff, we just playin, but also, can you build a really big parcel sized mailbox asap. Thanks

Heidi & Matt

A small intimate wedding for Heidi and Matt after a number of postponements due to the ol Covi-d. We got there in the end with Heidi’s sister and niece as her Bridesmaids.

Weddings

Ive just finished my last wedding for 2022! The busiest spring yet, 12 Weddings, five formals, a bunch of special occasions and some bridal trials thrown in there aswell! I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all my beautiful brides for allowing me to be a part of your special day – Kyleisha, Heidi, Annelise, Em, Laura, Amanda, Erin, Hayley, Hannah, Jay, Beth and Georgia, it’s such an honour. The sweetest Bride with the most beautiful family. It was such a pleasure doing Mariah’s makeup for her Wedding last year, and I can’t wait to do her Sisters Bridal makeup later this year.

Mahaila & Brodie

These gals were good fun! They weren’t going to let a little moisture about the place dampen their day. Mahaila had a ‘super organiser’ within her Bride tribe, and these gems are always good to have around on your wedding day. All the last minute organising is covered and it takes so much pressure off the Bride on their big day.
