Last weekend I wrapped up the Autumn Wedding Season for 2022. It was big and it was awesome! Makeup artists and hairdressers play such a huge part on a wedding day, not because of the work they do, but the presence and vibe they bring along to the day. At most weddings, hair and makeup are with the bridal party from 7am all the way through to just before the ceremony. That’s a long time to listen to me busting out one dad joke after another #takeadayoffson. It’s a privilege and honour to be a part of someone’s special day, so I want to say a huge thank you to all my beautiful autumn Brides – Dennie, Sharnie, Kira, Jess, Maddy, Mariah, Emma, Mahaila, Jade, Tegan, Jade and Charlotte for inviting me along. I cant wait to see what my Spring Brides have for me x

My beautiful friend @endessamakeupartist assisted me to get all these maids, as well as a couple of Mums, ready by midday. If you have a large Bridal party please get in touch as early as you can. I often get Endessa to assist me on large Bridal parties, she has a similar natural style to me and 30 years experience in beauty and makeup. This was hands down the best wedding that I have ever had the honour of being a part of. This is Colly, my best mate of 36 years. It was my absolute honour to be her makeup artist #nopressure and stand beside her as she married the man of her dreams.
It was also a great day for the “Wives of Dan with Surnames You’ll Be Spelling for the Rest of Your Life” Club, it was wonderful to gain another member. Congratulations Mrs Beresowskyj!

I was lucky enough to do Jessie’s makeup for her wedding in April last year. And when I say lucky, I mean I rocked up at the wrong accommodation, waking ol love up at 7am on a Saturday morning. There was a serious amount of confusion, partly because she was still half asleep (and expecting a makeup artist at 11am), and partly because I was trying to math in my head how I was going to do 7 beautiful faces in two hours. We finally established that her makeup artist was indeed arriving at 11am, and I was indeed at the wrong address, and found my beautiful bride two doors down 🤷🤦
