Elizabeth and Dean’s country wedding wrapped up my weddings for Autumn 2023. The Valley is known for its warm summers, but it can also get very cold in the winter months. I remember pulling up to Elizabeths accommodation on the morning of her wedding and it was a balmy 1 degree outside. As you’ll be able to see from the photos, it turned out to be a beautiful day!
Back to regular content. I still have so many beautiful weddings to share with you from last year, including alllll of spring! But before that, my last two autumn weddings for 2023. Firstly the beautiful wedding of Annika and Mason, the last wedding to be held at Pillar Rock Farm.
Time to share one last wedding before the Christmas break.
Kate and Jacob exchanged vows at the Catholic Church in Maclean before their reception at the Grafton District Services Club for their beautiful autumn wedding earlier this year.
Kaitlin and Jake chose to have their gorgeous autumn wedding at the Grooms family property in Nymboida. It was a beautiful relaxed morning getting Kait and her girls ready at a neighbouring farm, such a stunning location!
Earlier in the year I completed a Makeup Masterclass by London based makeup artist Nikki Wolff. This look is inspired by the @nikki_makeup Tutorial “Smoked out Wing Liner”.
It was a rainy/sunny/rainy/sunny Sunday morning down in Yamba for Karly’s wedding. Karly had her beautiful little daughter as her flowergirl, I love spending time with the little ones to make them feel special on such an important day. I quickly realised however, that unless it was rainbow, whatever I was doing on her face was not going to cut it. I’m not going to lie, I started to sweat, picturing this adorable five year old sitting up late at night, tapping away on the computer, leaving me my first negative review. I pulled out the glitter, I pulled out the shimmer, I pulled out the pretty pink lipgloss, it wasn’t rainbow, it wasn’t working. I loosened my collar, I started to panic, silence fell across the crowd, I knew then what I needed to do. I slowly reached for my bag of Princess Lipglosses, the crowd gasped, I handed her the “Belle” lipgloss, her favourite princess. She smiled, the crowd went wild! I took a bow, and basked in my success. My source tells me that the Belle lipgloss stayed firmly gripped in her little hand as she walked down the aisle. My source also tells me that Mum was very happy we didn’t go with rainbow.
It was such a beautiful morning hanging out with Bec and her girls. Although Bec didn’t have traditional bridesmaids, her besties were by her side all morning to ensure her day was perfect.
The delightful country wedding of Mel and Vincent was held at the Clydesdale Motel and Steakhouse in Casino. This is a great little spot if you are planning a country wedding. The indoor/outdoor reception area is full of rustic country charm – greenery, timber features, fairy lights. It’s a one stop shop, with your ceremony and reception in the one location, and all your guests can stay at the motel as well! Definitely worth checking out if you are planning a beautiful country style wedding.
The gorgeous wedding of Britt and Michael. So many stunning images from this wedding, courtesy of the very talented @stephanieflayphotography Britt and Michael chose to have their ceremony at the Cathedral in Grafton, with the following festivities and bangin’ tunes by @ryanmartinweddings out at McLennans Lane.
